Exterior view of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society Solarium Building

Patients are housed in the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society solarium, which featured windows on all sides to allow maximum sunlight. "Solarium J.C.R.S." is inked in white on front of the photograph. In the 1920s, heliotherapy was considered therapeutic for tuberculosis patients.
