Course Related Content at DU

Course Related Content at DU can include materials for traditional reserves, electronic reserves, videos, DVD's and VHS, and images in DU VAGA, documents in Blackboard and Portfolio, text books and course packs at the DU Bookstore, technical support through Multi Media Services. Access to many of these services can be made through WebCentral and faculty members can view class rosters, wait lists, process registration overrides, submit grades, email individual students or the entire class through MyWeb.

Course Related Content at the DU Libraries

Electronic Reserves is a service in which library materials are made available electronically for students in a specified course.  Articles, book chapters, syllabi and other documents can be requested for e-reserves at the Circulation Desk at the Penrose Library or online.

Traditional Reserves are for items such as books, videos, CDs and DVDs and will be held at the Circulation Desk for a limited checkout period.  Materials to be placed on Traditional Reserves may be requested at the Circulation Desk or online.

Streaming Video for DU VAGA Video streaming is a collaborative service brought to you by the DU Libraries, The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), and Multi-Media Services. Library owned videos (we will purchase videos we do not own) are reformatted and streamed through the CTL's delivery service called DU VAGA.

Course Related Holds Library materials such as videos to be shown in class may be requested to be held for a certain date.
